beckham told Official FIFA World Cup Website: ‘Seeing the fans coming together and the level of football – it’s been amazing. It is a privilege for me to see the enthusiasm and fun of the fans.
Beckham discussed the level of football on display. He said: ‘The level of football [at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar] Has been unbelievable.
‘I was always in favor of playing the World Cup in the middle of the season because I knew the players would be fresh and the fitness and energy levels would be high.’

‘I love the Moroccan midfield – their elegance and the way they play the game. Jude Bellingham had a great tournament for England and Bukayo Saka,’ Beckham said.
He added: ‘Kilian Embappé’s had a fantastic tournament – whenever he puts the ball at his feet, you can feel the energy in the stadium lift.
‘And Lionel Messi – what can you say? He is a special person on and off the field. It is a different feeling to see him playing in this World Cup. He’s got great teammates but he’s been a leader – and you could feel it in every single game. It is special to see.

Beckham – who twice reached the quarter-finals of the World Cup with England – shared his opinion on the current team of the Three Lions.
Beckham is hugely impressed with England, despite being knocked out of the tournament after a 2-0 defeat to France.
He is confident that Gareth Southgate’s young side will flourish once they get more experience under their belts.
Beckham said: ‘We have real quality and the England players will take that experience into the next tournament.
‘The fans are right behind us, the future is looking bright. We have a lot of young players who will learn from this and take it to the Euros and the next World Cup.

Beckham’s comments about the fans’ experience came after it was revealed that Qatar was disappointed by her decision to avoid the World Cup media.

But Beckham has yet to come out and speak about his decision to align himself with a country where migrant workers died building new World Cup stadiums and homosexuality is illegal.
